Sara Goto is a native of Oregon (USA) and did her undergraduate work in the Department of Biology at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. After graduating in 2012, she completed a MSc degree in 2014 with David Layzell at the University of Calgary in the Department of Biological Sciences. At present, Sara is a PhD candidate at the University of Michigan in the School for Environment and Sustainability.
Her current research is focused on advancing understanding of information processing and decision-making. She specifically looks at how different generations (i.e. millennials, baby boomers) respond to environmental losses and how this influences future judgments and choices with regards to policy.
